The University of Twente offers scholarships to international students from All Round the world. The University of Twente provides numerous scholarship opportunities, each with its own set of eligibility requirements. Scholarships in Holland are for graduate study only. This is a need-based scholarship, therefore recipients will be expected to demonstrate that they have the financial wherewithal to afford the remainder of their tuition and living costs.

Twente University can be found in the Dutch city of Enschede. Degrees are available in a variety of scientific, technological, business, and social disciplines. Students from outside the European Union and the European Economic Area who are accepted to a degree program at the University of Twente in the Netherlands may be eligible to receive a Holland Scholarship. To be considered for the scholarship, you must first be accepted into a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.

Conditions for Eligibility :

  • The 2023–2024 school year is the beginning of your studies.
  • You must be from a non-EU/EEA nation; You must have a very good academic record (i.e. a CGPA of 7.5 (out of 10));
  • You must not have studied in the Netherlands for a complete degree (i.e. a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
  • You have (tentatively) been accepted into one of the approved degree programs.
  • You have passed the standard English proficiency test and meet all other requirements necessary to enter the Netherlands;
  • A total of 6.5 on the Academic IELTS (or 90 on the TOEFL iBT) and a score of 6.0 (or 20 on the TOEFL iBT) on the Speaking section
  • You are not eligible for a Dutch study grant.

Deadline

The Holland Scholarship application deadline at the University of Twente is May 1, 2023.

First, you need to apply to one of the qualifying Master’s programs; then, once you have your student ID number, you can submit your scholarship application. When you’re ready, submit an application for a Holland Scholarship.
