Grants for Optimisation-Related Ph.D. Study:

Ph.D. position summary/title: Doctoral Researcher in Optimisation

The focus of the team’s research is on improving sustainable mobility and city planning through the creation of models and approaches. Due to the increased potential number of solutions they offer, particularly integrated methods to sequential problems are developed and researched. For more complex situations, experts develop targeted heuristics based on exact methodologies developed for specific problem classes. Options for social optimization are also examined against the benefits and drawbacks of game theoretic approaches.
