The Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic is responsible for Covering All Costs associated with the Slovak Scholarships for International Students. Studying in Slovakia provides international students with the chance to continue their studies at one of Slovakia’s top universities. Scholarships from the Slovak Republic’s National Scholarship Program (NSP) are available to graduate students, faculty members, researchers, and artists.

Foreign students are eligible for this 100% tuition waiver in Slovakia. Most, but not all, of the costs associated with attending university in Slovakia will be covered by these grants.

- If you don’t have a Ph.D. (or its equivalent) and have less than four years of experience as a university teacher/researcher/artist, you’ll make 734 euros per month. If you do have a Ph.D. and less than ten years of experience, you’ll make 980 euros per month. If you have a Ph.D. and more than ten years of experience, you’ll make 1,050 euros per month.

How Long the Scholarship Will Last:
The Republic of Slovakia’s National Scholarship Program 2023 is a temporary funding exchange program for students to pursue their research in Slovak universities.
- Scholarship Recipient Stay Length (Students): Full 1–2 Semesters (4–5 or 9–10 Months) or Full 1–3 Trimesters (3–4, 6–7, or 9–10 Months) if the academic year is divided into trimesters.
- Scholarship recipients with a Ph.D. must commit to a minimum of one year’s residence.
- Scholarships for faculty, researchers, and artists often range from one to ten months in length.

- College Freshmen from Schools Outside of Slovakia.
- Please be aware that this Slovakia full scholarship for international Students 2024 is not intended for students pursuing a complete Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree.
- This Is Not a Full Scholarship for a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree.
- Graduate students (master’s degree candidates) or undergraduates who, by the application deadline, will have completed at least 2.5 years of study in the same major.
