This programme will evaluate your skills and abilities and determine whether or not you qualify for it. In this article, I will describe how the evaluation and each procedure are conducted. You must first submit an application through the Canadian Express Entry Programme, where your profile will be created and added to the website’s pool of profiles. In addition, your application will be evaluated using a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), a system in which points from various factors are tallied and ranked in order to evaluate your education, skills, and language proficiency.

In addition, the CRS will now evaluate your profile and rank you based on your age, experience, financial status, and Canadian sponsorship. If you have the highest score among all applicants, you have a greater chance of receiving express entry through the Federal Skilled Worker Program.

Let’s discuss in detail how these factors will affect your contribution to your assessment of the immigration program.

#1. Age:

The individual is assessed through his age; for example, if you are below 18 years of age, you will get a zero point, and as the age increases, the points will increase, but after the age of 37, your points will start decreasing. But you can still get points in other factors and still be eligible for the program. The point limit for the age factor is 12, and the range is given below;

  • Under 18 – 0 (points)
  • 18-35 – 12

#2. Education

You are also required to present proof of education that your education is equal to a completed certificate, diploma, or degree from a Canadian:

  • secondary institution (high school)

You must include your foreign credential and Educational Credential Assessment report when you apply. To validate the educational equivalence, you can click the Link. Please keep in mind that the maximum number of points for the education factor is 25.

#3. Work Experience.

The factor of work experience is also important because the immigration department checks whether you worked as a full-time worker for 30 hours a week or an equal time as a part-time worker (15 hours per week for 12 months). The maximum number of points for work experience is 15.

#4. Job offers.

One way to get points for the Canadian FSW program is to secure a job in Canada from an employer or company, with an employment plan of at least 1 year with full-time work for 30 hours a week. The job must be of any TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 of the NOC. The maximum number of points for a job offer in Canada for the FSW program is 10.

#5. Language Skills.

You can achieve scores for your FSW program if you know both of Canada’s official languages, English/French. You can still get points if you know any one of the languages, because both help in the Canadian job Market. The maximum number of points for language skills is 28.

You can get points based on your ability to:

  • write
  • read
  • listen
  • speak

#6. Adaptability

You will achieve extra points if you prove your adaptability to Canada’s norms, culture, and environment of Canada. This can be done if you have lived there for a minimum time period for your education or you have a partner or spouse living in Canada already, and even if you have any relatives in Canada. The maximum points for this factor are 10.
